Take the Mystery out of the Pelvic Floor

Trisha Jenkyns and Rachael Percoco are both experienced physical therapists that specialize in pelvic floor health and the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. They are passionate about taking the mystery out of the pelvic floor and having fun in the process! They have developed a workshop for your facility: ‘Take the Mystery out of the Pelvic Floor.’

What do they have to say about their workshop?

Our workshop is for instructors and/or your clients and we will travel to your Yoga, Barre, Pilates or other exercise studio.  Invite us to your Exercise Studio to help enhance your expertise and extend widespread awareness of pelvic floor total wellness!  We are also able to set up smaller workshops in the Stoneham or Rowley area.

We are passionate about taking the mystery out of the pelvic floor and having fun in the process!

Pelvic floor health is finally receiving attention, but additional focus is essential in order to spread the word about treatment and prevention of pelvic floor dysfunction. You and your studio can be a part of this focus.

What do we do?

We offer a comprehensive workshop with the following objectives & questions in mind:

  • What and where are the pelvic floor muscles?

  • What is the impact of breath, posture, and alignment on the pelvic floor?

  • Learn the anatomy/physiology of the pelvis-observe the logic of the body

  • What is pelvic floor health?

  • Identify dysfunction & treatment: incontinence, prolapse & pain
